The first step in a repair of a wristwatch is obviously its opening. Much of wristwatches that are repaired today are waterproof watches or divers with screw that require special care when opening and closing of the above cases. This tool allows you to control various parameters in a mechanical movement. In addition to determining the gap daily controls the isochronism of the movement, the amplitude, the angle doffing; you can also activate a microphone to hear the clock tick. The machine automatically detects the frequency of the movement, but also allows you to select it manually. By means of a printer it is also possible to reproduce on paper the graph of the operation of the watch. Quartz watches products from big brands and high quality are not many, when compared to the production of mechanical watches of the same houses. However there are some models that use these mechanisms. For the control of quartz movements we use the Q Test Witschi. A complete machine that allows you to make all the necessary measurements for control of a circuit.

The cases and bracelets instead follow another path. After being dismantled in every part is carefully treated to be restored to their original splendor. To do this you use a cleaning machine and various types of brushes and pastes to eliminate the scratches and abrasion that use inevitably leads to produce on the clock.
The next step is washing and drying of the case and bracelet. This is necessary to remove any remaining of the pulps used in the polishing and polishing all kinds of impurities and accumulated over the years of use of the watch. We use an ultrasonic bath which allows to adjust the duration of the bath and the temperature of the washing liquid. Drying is achieved by immersion of the pieces in sawdust boxwood and subsequent use of jets of compressed air and hot.
For those watches that require it, it is made the test of resistance, obviously after replacing all seals. Usually this test is performed before replacing the movements, to avoid the risk of "flooding". We can carry out the test either dry, by measuring the deformation of the case to vary the external pressure, was with water, in order to accurately locate the points of infiltration. The final step consists in the control of the fully functioning of the watch. For automatic watches must also check the efficiency of the charging device and to do this we use an automatic charging, which keep moving the watches for the time that, in practice, should be to the wrist of the owner.
